Rachel Corrie 5th Grade Speech: Because I Care

Via: Wide Eye Cinema.

Rachel Corrie, a true hero was murdered by the State of Israel.

Rachel Corrie was killed by the state of Israel, and by its brutal regime that practises not only ‘mass punishment’ but also ‘ethnic cleansing’. The same regime that has displaced over 4 million Palestinians, and killed many thousands. The same regime that has denied the right to self-determination to the Palestinian people. A regime that systematically destroys the lives of innocents every single DAY.

  1. Who thinks that those people that use others and put activist in the line of fire to fight their battles are better than the Israeli?
I don t think that Israel is the only one responsible.
I am sadden by the end of a lovely human being life and I am scared that many will follow if people don t get a conscience and stop using others and killing others.
We have no right to take any lifes, is vulgar, is cowardly and most of all is against any morals.
I think that we need to stop putting at risk people for our own fights

  2. Yes if the victim weren’t there and living where the crime took place, the crime wouldn’t happen, it’s the fault of the victim, and the activist who felt the pain of others was just a toy, because those people under occupation has a spacial ability to attract naive activists and they are guilty, as much as the IOF “the Israeli Occupation Forces”, of the death of these activists. Is this your logic?
When you throw your claims like “those people that use others and put activist in the line of fire to fight their battles”, “if people don’t get a conscience and stop using others and killing others.”, ” stop putting at risk people for our own fights” repeating the same thing 3 times, do you bother to support them? You are not just adding more insults to the real victims who have no choice, as long as they have no freedom, and living under the occupation, also showed a disrespect to “the lovely human being” as you describe Rachel, not seeing the obvious fact that this 5th grade girl grew up knowing how to care for others especially the poor. I wish if there were more parents like hers.
But clearly you have no idea what is life under occupation, every single day stealing more lands and demolishing the homes of native owners. Imagine someone is knocking on your door to say: Get out your home is mine!!! And by the way you will pay for your own home demolition, then better to hurry up and hire a cheap local bulldozer!!

  3. I am sorry that my point was not as clear as I wanted it to be.
Nobody has the right to hurt others, to occupy land and make the native people life miserable or in danger.
What I hate is to see mostly western people doing the battle for the Palestinians, risking the life to help them and still get treated as Infidels from many.
The most peculiar thing is that, often women are the ones fighting for the rights of people, the species that many men still treats as an inferior species.
Till women risk the dark ages because of some crazy lunatic I find very odd to see young women loosing the life for men that would send them to jail if they had a chance just for how they dress.
To see unfairness only when convenient is not my style , I see it all.

  4. See the roots of “the dark ages”, and I am wondering if you could get the connection or you still think “these people” are from a different world?
    This clip from 1950:

    And still:

  5. I am not saying no to that, I agree with you but i know as well that we have choices and that if we allow others to put our mothers under gates because of the occupation…the only one paying is our mother.
    Why are you allowing that?
